The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has changed our lives quite a bit over the past few weeks. We understand the uncertainty of these times and want to ensure that we remove any anxiety regarding summer camp registration. We want to assure you that your health, safety and well-being is our highest priority. We have been in constant communication with the university and are closely following the restrictions set forth by the federal and state government. At this time, we are proceeding forward with the full intention of holding camp this summer and will continue to evaluate the situation as it develops.
We want to ensure that you can register for camp without having any concerns regarding a cancellation on our end. Rest assured that if Camp New Heights, the city of Santa Barbara, the University, or the state of California deem that a session of camp cannot be held due to public health concerns, Camp New Heights will provide you with a full refund. In addition to our promise, we also offer two levels insurance that provide you with additional reimbursement if you need to cancel for a reason other than a public health concern.
While this pandemic has changed a lot of things about our daily lives, we hope and pray for a return to normalcy. We encourage everyone to following the guidelines set forth by local health agencies. Wash your hands, practice social distancing, minimize non-essential travel, get tested if symptoms appear, and try to stay calm and continue to follow the updated guidelines by the CDC, federal government, state government, and local officials.
