June 25-August 5, 2023 | Santa Barbara, CA
ABOUT OUR CAMP
Camp New Heights is a two, four or six week overnight summer program for campers aged 9 through 17, located in Santa Barbara, California. Programs are personalized to fit individual needs with the focus of helping each camper build a better version of themselves and reach new heights. While at camp, they can enjoy the independence of a college-style living experience and world-class counselors and staff. We believe that regardless of your skill level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced athlete), everyone can reach new heights.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Our vision is to give campers the skills and tools to live a healthy and active lifestyle. Our three different programming levels allow for physical variation among our campers, but the skills we teach are universal. Developing an exercise regiment, picking nutrient dense foods, grocery shopping, preparing healthy meals, and pushing towards new heights can be fun and rewarding. These skills become an essential part of a camper upon their return home and our parents see their kids taking a vested interest in their health and well-being.

We are located on the beautiful campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara. We have served campers from all across California, the USA, and the entire world.
"My son just got home from 6 weeks at this camp. He had a wonderful time. The counselors and kids really bonded and seemed to create a "family". There was so much positive energy there. My son has learned a lot about nutrition and exercise. He struggles with his weight and has food issues. I loved that their focus wasn't on how much he weighed/lost but on teaching proper nutrition and exposing him to activities and exercises that he can enjoy to encourage an active lifestyle. Communication was excellent. Every promise they made was kept. When I dropped him off he was upset and didn't want to stay. When I picked him up, he was upset and didn't want to leave! And we have already heard from a couple of counselors checking in on him!!! I can't say enough about this camp! I strongly recommend it!!"
"My two daughters (10 and 16) spent 2 weeks at Camp New Heights this past summer and they had a wonderful experience. My daughters were a little nervous going in, but within hours of arrival they were having a blast and at the end they didn't want to leave. The program was adapted and customized to meet their needs. The girls got to experience a plethora of new activities and were exposed to an abundant amount of information about nutrition, physiology, and life skills to bring home with them. Both girls loved their classes, counselors, and especially the weekend excursions. The camping excursion was such a great experience for the girls to get out and have a wonderfully structured outdoor adventure like they never had before. The camp was such a great experience that we intend on sending both girls back next summer. My daughters went from being skeptical about attending to begging us to stay longer and return next summer. I would recommend this camp to all parents, the experience is multifaceted and offers so many opportunities for kids to grow and thrive at camp and after returning home.
Most importantly my daughters self esteem went up tremendously after the camp, they even seemed to be happier, more active and more open to physical activities after the camp comparing their lifestyle before. It's like they now stay active with intention and deeper understanding how important it is. It's a healthy life style lesson that they had though fun and group of people that made it feel like a family."
